A Lacey Perspective on the Golden Globes

There were many of you asking me to give you my ‘Lacey Perspective’ on the gown choices of the Golden Globes. Below is my best dressed, and runner up of the 2011 Golden Globes.

RUNNER UP: Anne Hathaway- Business in the front. Party in the back.
My runner up for best dressed was Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive and Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. Not only was this color stunning with her skin tone, but did anyone else notice her perfect little clutch?! Her gold box clutch was made by Roger Vivier and was truly the perfect little addition to this amazing choice for Anne. When I first saw her walking down the red carpet, I thought that dress was beautiful but needed a bit of a punch, then she turned around. Wow! The back is EXACTLY what I wanted to see. Fabulous job Anne, and of course her stylist, Rachel Zoe (who doesn’t let her pregnancy get in the way of the Globes).

BEST DRESSED: Olivia Wilde- The Chocolate Princess
My winner for best dressed was BY FAR Olivia Wilde. This delicious chocolate Marchesa gown was fit for a princess. Not only did I love love love this gown, but her make-up and simple hair was perfect!

The color choices I noticed most on the red carpet was; navy blue, green and blush. Goal of the week– attempt to add more green and blush to my wardrobe.

Who was your best dressed?

  1. Nice story, although the last part is a bit dubious in my eyes. I do hope to see more of this, but how can I stay updated with your posts? Best regards from England!

    • You can keep up with my posts by either using Google Reader (my personal favorite way to keep up with blogs), subscribe to my post via email (there is an option on the right side of my home page), or just keep coming back weekly! :)

  2. I always believed that sometimes things are better left unsaid. This was just another drop of wisdom that proved me wrong. Who knows, maybe I’ll try your approach.
