DC Fashion Bloggers & A Dirty Martini

I had an insanely busy week last week! Between DC Fashion Week, the DC FABB Meet Up, and tons of personal commitments I was booked solid. I am hoping to take this week to walk you all through some of my fantastic experiences I had during my first DC Fashion Week.

Last Tuesday night, dressed in one of my new favorite (don’t tell the others) vintage dresses, I met an absolutely fabulous group of bloggers at the first DC FABB (DC Fashion/Beauty Bloggers) Meet Up at Dirty Martini. Every single one of them had such a passion for what they wrote and a deep love for their readers. As we swapped stories, tips and tricks over delicious cocktails I began to realize the notion that DC doesen’t have style is just absurd, and I was surrounded by 15 talented writers who were determined to change that thought process. Some of these bloggers included: Hot Vegan GirlLa Petite MarmosetWardrobe OxygenCapital FashionistaSo Much to Smile AboutStylin’ and ProfilinMartafacts, and DC Goodwill Fashionista. I am a huge fan of each and every one of them, and you should be too!

Lastly, if you are a DC/MD/VA area blogger consider joining our DC FABB Listserv. We’ll be planning another meetup very soon!

What Lacey wore:

  • Black Tights {Calvin Klein}
