Lacey’s Wearing: Pattern, Pattern and Sparkle

Skirt {Francesca’s} | Sequin Top {Meeps Vintage} |  Black Heels {Steve Madden} | Black Braided Belt {F21} | Red Floral Clutch {H&M}| Gold Watch {Michael Kors}| Silver/Gold Bracelet {Yurman}| Orange Nail Polish {OPI – Don’t Be Koi With Me} | Red Lipstick {Revlon – British Red} | Hair Style HowTo

I went out for dinner and drinks in Tampa later this weekend and I decided to take a risk and try the pattern on pattern trend (I figure I don’t know too many people here – time to take a risk) with some sparkle. I think I like it! Sorry for the poor quality of the picture, I had J take a quick picture in front of the hotel underneath the overhang because it was pouring out.

The second picture is of me and one of my Littles from when I was a sorority in college. Since she is a local Tampon (yes sometimes they call themselves this) she met us out for dinner and drinks. Her absolutely adorable dress is from Express (may have to go grab me one).

Still in Tampa, so I have to keep this one short.

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!

PS
I posted an outfit post this weekend as well, did you catch it?

  1. I think you did a great job with the pattern on pattern look. It comes off looking like a dress. The more I look at it, the more I love it.

    • Thank you so much! It definitely took some bravery on my part to step out with something so different… but I agree. The more I do it the more I love it! :)
