Lacey’s Wearing: Plaid & Dots

Romper {Express} | Scarf in hair {vintage} | Bag {vintage Dooney & Burke} | Oxfords {Steve Madden} |  Watch {Michael Kors} | Silver/Gold Bracelet {Yurman} | Gold Bangles {H&M} | Friendship Bracelet {Meeps Vintage}| Lipstick {CoverGirl – Temptress} | Blush {NARS – Orgasm}

After Hurricane Irene graced us with her presence, J and I decided we should go to our favorite place for dinner before another natural disaster decided to hit DC. Just kidding…. there is nothing else coming, but you never know.

This is my normal weekend look. Hair up in a top knot, something easy to toss on and my trusty nude oxfords.

I had a fabulous hurricane party this weekend with great friends, lots of cards games and delicious wine. Personally, I think Irene took up the majority of our weekend and we should get a re-do or at least get to extend the weekend… who’s with me?!

I hope everyone is safe and had a relaxing weekend!

  1. Love this look! That first photo is especially adorable. Your scarf matches the plaid just right.

    I agree about needing a weekend do-over after Irene. We didn’t lose power or anything, but all of Saturday was spent waiting anxiously for the power to go out – it just wasn’t relaxing like the weekend should be. At least next weekend is a long one!

  2. GIRL, this outfit is amazing. So so so so vintage. You look like a fab 1960’s gal sitting on her stoop in Queens, NY, about to go to the bodega. I LOVE it.
