While scrolling through my Google Reader the other day, I saw a post by Habitually Chic. A typical post by a fashion blogger lucky enough to be part of the NYFW mix, titled The Front Row, gave me a glimpse into the Nanette Lepore show. She states how watching the front row is her favorite part of attending the shows (I’m sure mine would be too). In this post was a picture of what the front row looked like from her point of view. A picture with many fashionistas to chose from, but what stood out to me was Joanna Hillman, Senior Fashion Market Editor of Harper’s Bazaar, and her perfect mixing of prints.
Determined to tackle this fashion feat, I have been slowly attempting this technique with my own wardrobe. The key is making sure that the mis-matching prints have one color in common. Above Joanna has black stripes and the black in her leopard coat. With the fabulous red lip and the casual camel bag this outfit is something I will be recreating to rock myself very, very soon. Below is my ‘Friday Fun’ with the above picture as my inspiration.

Are you following A Lacey Perspective on Twitter or liking it on Facebook? Not sure how to style these items? I am starting to take style questions on Facebook and will be posting detailed responses on my blog starting very soon. Have a question for me? Post it here.
